My Summer Car is an immersive car-building game that offers a unique and challenging experience. In this simulation game from Amistech Games, you play as a teenager who is tasked with building and driving a small, rugged car. The twist is that the car comes completely disassembled, and you have to put it back together without any help.
Once you successfully build the car, you can drive and use it for various 1990’s Finnish countryside summer events. But the game offers much more than just driving. You can also tune and maintain both your car and yourself.
One of the standout features of My Summer Car is its survival aspect. Throughout the game, you will encounter challenging and occasionally deadly events that you need to navigate in order to complete tasks and earn currency called Marrka. For example, you might risk getting killed by a wild moose or crashing head-on into an oncoming car on the highway. You can even bury your car on a pine tree!
This game doesn't hold your hand or provide any tutorials, so you'll need to figure things out on your own. Earning Marrka to buy parts can be difficult, as you'll need to complete various jobs. And don't forget about the unforgiving roads!
My Summer Car is not your ordinary car simulation game. It may be challenging at first, but the satisfaction you'll feel when you achieve a goal is immense. The game is also highly replayable, with countless activities and possibilities. Each time you play, the experience will be unique and different.
